Council Grants Program Round One 2010/11 opens

The following grant programs are now open:

- Environmental Grants (closes 30 August 2010)
- Native Wildlife Carer Funding (closes 30 August 2010)
- Cultivating Community Gardens Grant (closes 30 August 2010)
- Community Support Funding (closes 6 September 2010)
- Community Grants (closes 13 September 2010)
- Community Facility Grants (closes 13 September 2010)

Grants are now being submitted through the Council's new online application system. The online application forms are an easy to use tool and will help applicants in a range of ways. Benefits include:
- Applications can be saved, developed and printed before they are submitted
- Support material can be attached to the online application
- Applications can be stored online and don't need to be saved on the applicant's home computer
- Producing multiple hard copies and mailing will no longer be required.
